Her largest courtroom success on the defense side was second-chairing a trial which resulted in a directed verdict for a construction company in a federal court case where the plaintiff sought to recover over $300M in damages. Ms. Smith’s most successful plaintiff’s verdict in a business case was a wrongful conversion trial where the client was awarded over $1M in damages, punitive damages, and also recovery of its attorney fees incurred in prosecuting the action.
